System components and installation
The device consists of several components that are installed and hidden discreetly in the vehicle. First, the radar receiver unit will be installed in the vehicle's front. As another part of the system, a GPS receiver must be mounted by the antenna unit, as this can be secured in the region of the sun visor and provides the reception of the GPS signal. Both of these receivers are connected to the so-called interface with cables. This interface is the central unit for example to be mounted under the steering wheel in a hidden way. At this interface, the small display and the settings unit can be connected.
